A little heads up that you might start seeing the name Sarvenaz Taghavian pop up around here (and, soon, on books). It's still me: you're neighborhood, rom-com lovin', nerdy, showtune enthusiast author--now under new (but really old) management!
Long story short: when I first started in publishing over a decade ago, I grappled with what to do with my name, which seemed long and unwieldy. And since my first name was more important to me than my last, I ended up shortening my mom's maiden name to come up with the pen name Tash. But recently, I've come to realize that seeing that name on books has never quite felt like it was me...it was never the dream I had as a 7-year-old staring at her bookshelves. It felt like it was time to reclaim that dream.
TL;DR: Sarvenaz Tash = Sarvenaz Taghavian. Hi!

I know you guys don't know Graham yet but, trust me, that guy on the cover? He IS Graham. Plus the costume. And the mylar balloons. And Javits...and, and, and.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I don't care if this cover loves me back or not. To me, it is perfect.
